Stream Network Modeling Using Remote Sensing Data in an Alpine Cold Catchment

چکیده

The hydrological information derived from a digital elevation model is very important in distributed modeling. As part of alpine research on stream network modeling using remote sensing data the northeast Tibetan Plateau, three (DEM) datasets were obtained for purpose features, mainly including channel network, watershed extent and terrain character. sources include airborne light detection ranging (LiDAR) with point spacing 1 m, High Mountain Asia (HMA) DEM Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) DEM. Mapping was conducted each datasets. modeled networks different DEMs verified against actual mapped field. results show that LiDAR most accurate representation SRTM overestimated basin hypsometry relative to at lowest elevation, while HMA underestimated highest elevation. This may be because, compared DEM, has higher initial density, accuracy resolution. It can seen have great potential application hydrologic water resource management small catchments.

Drought Analysis of Alvand Boundary River Using Remote Sensing Data

Extended abstract 1- Introduction       The study of the behavior of rivers in the arid and dry areas is one of the most important tasks in the country. Because the area has increased the effects of drought due to the sensitivity of the area and rainfall shortage, it causes changes in the flow and sediment regime, water resources, agriculture, and so on. Since plants react more precisely to t...

Determination of the Equilibrium Line on an Alpine Glacier Using Remote Sensing Data Fusion Techniques

Highresolution remote sensing satellite data serve as a source for equilibrium line (EL) analysis on top of glaciers. Data fusion techniques are used in order to take advantage from both the multispectral and panchromatic information available from simultaneously acquired IRS-LISS and -PAN recordings. As a result of segmentation between snow and ice the EL is derived based on multispectral clas...

The application of artificial neural network and multiple linear regression in modeling the volume of residual stand using environmental data and remote sensing

In order to manage the forests and optimal and sustainable utilization of the forest, it seems necessary to know the information on the volume of the residual stand. In this study, a systematic randomized inventory was carried out in 186 circular 10-acre plots in the educational and research forest of Darabkola, Sari, Golestan, Iran and the volume of each plot was obtained. In the next step, th...

Forest Fire Potential Modeling and Simulation of its Extension Using Remote Sensing Data and GIS: (A Protected Area of Arasbaran)

Forest fire models are generally used in different aspects of fire management and are helpful in understanding and prediction of fire behavior. Forest fires cause a significant damage for public property by destroying a large tract of forest.  This helps fire fighters to focus on an area with greater risk and to develop better substructure for fire fighter training and ultimately to plan fire-f...

Remote Sensing Image Fusion Based on Two-Stream Fusion Network

Remote sensing image fusion (or pan-sharpening) aims at generating high resolution multi-spectral (MS) image from inputs of a high spatial resolution single band panchromatic (PAN) image and a low spatial resolution multi-spectral image. In this paper, a deep convolutional neural network with two-stream inputs respectively for PAN and MS images is proposed for remote sensing image pan-sharpenin...
